Type and colour: pick one of each

Why it reads as dated. Fraunces is a warm old-style serif with deliberate wobble, so it lands classic-boutique rather than modern. Inter underneath is the most-used interface typeface on the web, which is exactly why it adds nothing to the brand.

Why this one. Atkinson Hyperlegible was drawn by the Braille Institute specifically so readers with low vision can tell confusable characters apart. For a practice whose two specialties are Parkinson's care and older-adult mobility, it is the most defensible body face available, and it is free.

Figtree gives the headings a clean, current geometry without Fraunces' retro warmth. It also gives you something true to say: the site is set in a typeface designed for people who struggle to read.

The distinctive one. Bricolage is a contemporary grotesque with real character at headline size, and it reads athletic rather than clinical, which suits the Performance half of the name and the golf work.

The trade. It is the most opinionated of the three. If the practice leans harder toward neurological care than golf over time, this is the one you would most likely outgrow.

Keeps a serif. If what you liked about the current site was the serif headline, this is its modern equivalent: Instrument Serif is high-contrast and editorial where Fraunces is warm and slightly retro. Manrope underneath is contemporary and neutral.

The trade. Instrument's thin strokes are the least forgiving of the three. It holds up in headings, where it is used, but it is the option that most depends on staying large.

The safe one. Your base stays exactly as it is. The fairway green, which today exists only as a faint background glow, becomes a real accent: buttons, links, checkmarks, the active nav item.

On a dark ground a brighter green gains contrast, so this is the one direction where brighter and more readable pull together. An afternoon's work to undo if it lands short.

The whole base lifts toward an actual grass colour, so the site feels less heavy without becoming a light site. Next to Green 1, this is the difference your wife would notice first.

The trade. Every figure drops about two points. All still pass, but the card link lands at 5.18:1 where Green 1 has 6.36:1.

The sports one. Drops the brass entirely and goes lime on near-black. This reads performance and training rather than clinic, and it is the direction that would sell golf work hardest.

The trade. It is loud, and it pulls away from the Parkinson's and older-adult half of the practice. It also scores the best contrast of all seven, which surprises people: lime on near-black is 12.27:1.

The concierge one. A true emerald rather than a near-black, with warm sand replacing the brass. Of the seven this is the one that most looks like it costs what you charge.

It is also noticeably greener than what you have now without being lighter, which may be closer to what your wife means by brighter than lifting the base is.

The modern one. Shifts the green toward teal, which is where a lot of current healthcare branding sits. It feels fresher and cleaner than the others.

The trade. Teal is the least golf-like green here. If the fairway association is the point, this is the option that loses it.

The site flips. Cream ground, deep green type. Much brighter, and closest to how most Naples practices look.

One thing it forces, visible as the red row: brass must darken from #8a6a24 to #74581c, because the original measures 4.47:1 on cream and fails.

As bright as it gets. White ground, green reserved entirely for accents and buttons. Reads clinical and current, and it is the easiest of the seven to read in bright Florida daylight on a phone.

The trade. It is also the least distinctive. This is what most physical therapy sites already look like, and the dark base is currently the most memorable thing you have.

This is the one you were describing. The hero keeps the dark green that makes the site distinctive, and everything below it goes white. You get the drama at the top and a bright, easy-to-read page for the actual content.

It is also the most practical of the ten: long pages such as pricing, conditions and the blog become far easier to read on a phone in daylight, while the homepage still opens with the green.

The inverse. A light cream hero, with green used as a feature band further down the page. Green becomes a punctuation mark rather than the ground.

Worth seeing next to Green 8. They use the same two ingredients in opposite order, and which one is right depends on whether you want the site to open bright or open dramatic.

The least green of the ten. White throughout, with a barely-tinted band to separate sections, and green reserved entirely for buttons, links and the logo.

If the feedback is really that the site feels heavy rather than that the green is wrong, this is the version that fixes that most directly. The trade: almost nothing here says golf, and it is the least memorable of the ten.
